MATERNAL LINE
The Stewart line has proven to be a difficult one to trace. In 1996, Verda (Olson) Stewart published history of what was then known about John Watson Stewart, his children, and their families. Information about his parents here was scant.
It was only fairly recently that I was able to connect John Watson Stewart to his parents, Archibald L. Stewart and Rebecca Upton. While I have a few tepid leads, trying to identify the parents of Archibald and Rebecca has so far produced no results.
